The Supreme Court of India has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives following the car blast that occurred in Delhi on the evening of 10 November 2025.

The Court extended its heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of those who perished in the horrific incident, describing the tragedy as a moment of profound national grief.

On behalf of the Supreme Court and the entire judicial and legal fraternity, a formal statement conveyed sympathy and prayers for the bereaved families and the injured.

The message emphasised that while no words can truly ease the pain of such loss, the collective compassion and solidarity of the nation may offer comfort in this hour of sorrow.

The Court said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who are grieving, as well as with those who are injured or otherwise affected. We hope that the shared empathy of the people will bring some solace and strength to the victims and their families.”

Upholding Justice and Human Dignity

Reaffirming its commitment to the rule of law and justice, the Supreme Court underscored that it stands united with the nation in ensuring that truth and accountability prevail.

The institution expressed determination to safeguard the dignity and security of every citizen, particularly during times of national distress.

“May the departed souls rest in eternal peace. May courage and comfort reach the bereaved families and all those who mourn this irreparable loss,” the message stated.
