Thousands of underprivileged individuals in villages across the Ballia district received much-needed relief as Yuva Chetna, a social welfare organization, distributed blankets to help them combat the winter chill.
The initiative reached numerous villages, including Mubarakpur, Fefna, Chitbaragaon, Narhi, Laxmanpur, Surhi, and Bharouli, where thousands of residents were handed blankets.
Yuva Chetna Expands Reach
The National Convenor of Yuva Chetna, Rohit Kumar Singh, shared that the organization’s objective is to distribute blankets to 1 lakh people across the country, including in Ballia.
This initiative aims to provide immediate relief from the biting cold and support the economically weaker sections of society. Singh emphasized that Yuva Chetna is not only focused on providing essential goods but also on uplifting the most vulnerable communities.
Power Of Social Responsibility
During the event, Singh highlighted the importance of individual and collective responsibility for the betterment of society. “The government is doing commendable work, but every citizen should serve society by fulfilling their responsibilities,” he said.
He also underscored the continuous efforts of Yuva Chetna towards the comprehensive development of marginalized and deprived communities. Their ultimate goal is to bring prosperity and opportunities to every section of society.
Youth’s Role In Social Change
Rohit Kumar Singh also spoke about the crucial role of youth in fostering societal change. He urged young people to realize their responsibilities toward the community and actively participate in the nation’s development.
Singh called upon the youth to engage in meaningful activities that could collectively contribute to a positive transformation.
Yuva Chetna’s blanket distribution drive is just one of the many steps the organization is taking to address pressing social issues and ensure that the needy are supported during challenging times.
