Will Accept Central Leadership’s Decision: Bihar BJP On Speculations About Nitish’s Move

Amidst conjectures that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar might abandon the governing ‘Mahagathbandhan’ and rejoin the BJP-led NDA, opposition leader in the assembly Vijay Kumar Sinha declared on Friday that the saffron party’s state unit will submit to whatever decision is made by the party’s national leadership.
Sinha stated, “Our central leadership is monitoring the political situation in Bihar,” in an interview with PTI. BJP leaders will accept any decision made by our central leadership.
Upon being asked if the party would work with Kumar’s JD(U) to form the state government, Sinha responded, “I have already made it clear that we will accept our central leadership’s decision.”
But he refuted reports that the BJP called a meeting of its legislative party on Saturday in light of recent changes in the state’s political landscape.
“We have not called a meeting of our legislature party tomorrow”, he said.
Regarding Tejashwi Yadav, the deputy chief minister of Bihar, missing the governor’s high tea ceremony at Raj Bhavan on Republic Day, Sinha remarked, “What can I say on that? You folks ought to question them (RJD). It was a government function unrelated to any political party.”
