Gautam Adani, the second richest man in India, revealed plans for an ambitious investment exceeding ₹2 lakh crore in Gujarat during the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in Gandhinagar. The primary focus of his investment is on establishing a green energy park, poised to be an eye-catching sight even from outer space. Adani emphasized that this initiative is anticipated to generate employment for a staggering 1 lakh individuals.

Highlighting the Adani Group’s commitment, he said “Out of the ₹55,000 crore pledged at the previous summit, the Adani Group has already disbursed ₹50,000 crore.”

Detailing the grand scale of their endeavours, Adani announced that the group is actively constructing a colossal green energy park in Kutch, encompassing a remarkable 30 gigawatts capacity across 25 square kilometres, designed to be a standout feature even when viewed from the cosmos.

Reflecting on India’s economic trajectory since 2014, Adani underscored a staggering 185% GDP growth and a remarkable 165% surge in per capita income, unprecedented amidst global geopolitical and pandemic challenges.

The summit, graced by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and influential industrialists also witnessed Ambani’s announcement of Reliance’s forthcoming venture – India’s premier and state-of-the-art carbon fibre facility to be established in Hazira. Ambani further accentuated Reliance’s deep-rooted connection to Gujarat, affirming, “Reliance was, is, and will forever be a Gujarati company.” He also lauded PM Modi as the most influential Prime Minister in Indian history, underscoring Modi’s global impact as a leader whose words resonate worldwide.
