Reduced Significantly under Yogi-Raj
Ever since Yogi Adityanath assumed charge as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, there is a significant drop in the crime rates against the women. The encouraging thing is that not only the crime rates against women declined but now the women have found their lost courage and are approaching different police stations to report crimes against them and seek justice.

The cops on their part are being rewarded as well by the government. The state government has introduced a point system for the police personnel who has better record of the fights against those heinous crimes. Those policeman who are to get higher points are likely to be rewarded whereas those cops with poor marks are likely to be demoted.

Crimes against women includes crimes like sexual assault, the POCSO Act, love jihad, and religious conversion. The districts to show significant improvement in crimes against women includes Badaun, Moradabad, Bijnor, Amroha, and Sambhal. While districts like Prayagraj, Shahjahanpur, Balrampur, Kaushambi, and Fatehpur have shown poor performance. In districts of Fatehgarh, Sitapur, Khiri, Kaushambi, and Hamirpur out of 2578 persons accused actions have been taken against 2325 while efforts are underway to catch the remaining 253.
Uttar Pradesh was once noted as the capital for crimes against women but the way it has been combated by Yogi administration deserves praises.
