On August 19, Mr. Wissing was in Bengaluru for the G20 Digital Ministers Meeting.

Notably, India’s quick payment mechanism is called Unified Payments Interface (UPI). It enables users to quickly make payments around-the-clock. It makes use of a Virtual Payment Address (VPA) that the consumer established.
India has so far collaborated on cutting-edge fintech and payment solutions with Sri Lanka, France, the United Arab Emirates, and Singapore. India and France have agreed to deploy the UPI payment system, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s earlier July announcement.
