Two brothers hailing from Jalandhar in Punjab fell victim to a brutal murder in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district, allegedly stemming from a monetary dispute, as per authorities on Friday.
The tragic incident unfolded in Nalagarh on a Thursday evening, resulting in the loss of the lives of Varun and Kunal, both employed as electricians within the district.
Lokesh, a maternal uncle of the deceased, relayed to the police that Gaurav Gill, a resident of Nakodar in Punjab, had summoned his nephews to discuss an ongoing financial disagreement.
When Varun and Kunal declined Gill’s request to meet him in Nakodar, they were instructed to gather at a designated location on the Nalagarh-Ramshehar road. Unfortunately, upon their arrival, they were subjected to a horrifying attack by three individuals riding a motorcycle, wielding sharp-edged weapons, according to a police spokesperson.
