Born on December 28, 1937, in Mumbai, Ratan Tata led the Tata Group from 1991 to 2012, and briefly until 2017.
Under his leadership, the group emerged as a globally respected institution while preserving its long-standing ethical foundations.
Ratan Tata passed away on October 9, 2024, leaving behind a legacy that continues to shape India’s economic and moral landscape.
