Tributes Paid To Martyrs At Haifa Chowk; India-Israel Ties Celebrated

The Forum for Awareness of National Security (FANS) commemorated Haifa Victory Day with solemn tributes and cultural programmes at Teen Murti–Haifa Chowk, New Delhi.

The event paid homage to the martyrs and celebrated the enduring friendship between India and Israel.

Dr Indresh Kumar, RSS National Executive Member and Patron of FANS, addressed the gathering, emphasising India’s rise under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“India was, is, and will remain a Vishwaguru,” he stated. “No power, whether the US, China, Russia, or Pakistan, can impose its will on India. India has always been a messenger of peace, giving the world a vision of peace and development.”

Dr Kumar also highlighted the historical connection between India and Israel, recalling how Indian soldiers contributed decisively to Israel’s liberation from the Ottoman Empire while India was itself fighting for freedom.

“This legacy of friendship continues unbroken to this day,” he added. He extended warm greetings to the public on the occasion of Navratra and the recent relief from GST.

Meanwhile, Major General Suresh Bhattacharya proposed a vote of thanks at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Leaders from FANS’ Delhi Chapter, such as Rajesh Mahajan, Advocate Abhay Tayal, and Advocate Rajeev Ranjan, were also present to welcome guests.

The Le Rhythms troupe, led by Rajeev Mukhopadhyay and Munmun Biswas, presented a vibrant cultural segment. National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets from Delhi University and Jamia Millia Islamia performed a ceremonial parade, adding to the event’s solemnity and grandeur.
