Various tribal organizations marched in the capital on Wednesday to support former CM Hemant Soren.
People wore their traditional tribal costumes as they protested. They warned the Central Government and ED that if Soren isn’t released soon, they won’t let Jharkhand’s mineral wealth leave the state.
They threatened to impose a Jharkhand bandh and economic blockade. Women also pledged to join the protest if needed. The march, starting from Kokar, reached Raj Bhavan. Ajay Tirkey, Central Sarna Committee Chairman, accused the BJP of misusing power and called out the central government’s dictatorial policy.
He criticized Soren’s arrest under false charges related to land dealings. The women in the march vowed to break Soren out of jail if he’s not released promptly.

Among the demonstrators, women voiced their determination with unyielding resolve. Should Hemant Soren’s release be delayed, they pledged to storm the gates of his confinement, dismantling barriers to secure his freedom.
This march, steeped in cultural identity and unwavering conviction, serves as a formidable reminder of the unity and determination within Jharkhand’s tribal communities.
