In a tragic incident in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, six individuals, including five members of a family, lost their lives in a violent clash stemming from a long-standing property dispute. The dispute had been festering between a village strongman named Prem Yadav and Satyaprakash Dubey in the Deoria district.
On the fateful day, Prem Yadav had gone to Satyaprakash Dubey’s residence for a discussion aimed at resolving their ongoing rivalry. During their conversation, a woman attacked Prem Yadav with a sharp-edged weapon, resulting in his murder.

Upon hearing about Prem Yadav’s killing, a large mob of his supporters stormed into Mr. Dubey’s house, leading to the brutal killing of Mr. Dubey and four other members of his family. The victims included 54-year-old Dubey, his wife Kiran Dubey, daughters Saloni and Nandani, and son Gandhi.
In response to the incident, police have deployed a significant force in the area to maintain order as the situation remains tense following these tragic killings. Two individuals have been arrested, and a comprehensive investigation is underway.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed district officials to offer all possible assistance to the affected families. He has also urged the police to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and take appropriate action against those responsible.
