Bodies Of 3 Missing Sisters Found Inside Trunk In Punjab
On October 2nd, a horrifying discovery shook the village of Kanpur in the Maqsudan police station area of Jalandhar district. The lifeless bodies of three young sisters, aged 9, 7, and 4, were found concealed inside a trunk within their own home. This tragic incident has left the community in shock, as the family, struggling as migrant laborers, had a total of five children.
The grim saga began when the girls’ father reported their disappearance on October 1st. Alarmed by their absence upon returning home from work, he sought help from the Maqsudan Police Station. However, a disturbing twist emerged when the police began to suspect the father’s involvement in the tragedy, suggesting that he might have taken the lives of his own children before reporting them missing.

Adding complexity to the situation, the owner of the rented house where the family resided revealed that the father was a habitual drinker. As a migrant laborer, he had recently received a notice to vacate the premises, compounding the family’s difficulties.
It was the neighbors who made the gruesome discovery, opening the trunk within the house to find the lifeless bodies of the three sisters. They immediately alerted the police, who arrived promptly and initiated the process of recovering the bodies.
