Tragedy struck a remote village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district on Monday, as three teenage sisters lost their lives in a devastating fire that engulfed their family home. The three-story house, situated in Dhanmasta-Tajnihal village within the Ukhral block, became a scene of horror in the early hours of the day.
The victims, identified as Bisma (18), Saika (14), and Saniya (11), were asleep on the top floor when the fire broke out, leaving them trapped and unable to escape. Despite efforts by fire and emergency services personnel, who rushed to the scene upon receiving the distress call, the flames had already consumed the entire house.

The heartbreaking discovery of the sisters’ lifeless bodies underscored the tragic outcome of the fire. As investigations continue, authorities are yet to determine the exact cause of the blaze, leaving the community grappling with shock and sorrow over the untimely loss of three young lives.
