Tiger Shroff Firing Case: Four More Arrested, Including Two Women

Delhi Police’s Special Cell has arrested four more people, including two women, in connection with the firing incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car.

The arrests have brought the alleged supply of weapons and attempts to help the shooters escape under further scrutiny.

The Special Cell’s NDR unit arrested the four accused on October 20.

Police identified them as Kunal, 21, and Sumit, 19, from Haryana’s Sonipat district, and Radha, 23, from Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur, and Babita, 23, from Azamgarh.

Police are tracing a pistol and 20 cartridges allegedly transported from Amritsar to Mumbai and investigating plans to help the shooters escape.

Kunal, recently released on bail, allegedly contacted Anil Pandit through a friend and communicated with him via an encrypted app.

At Pandit’s direction, Kunal brought the weapon to Mumbai with Sumit and persuaded Radha to carry it.

On October 15, Kunal took Radha and Babita to New Delhi railway station, where Radha carried the pistol in her bag. They reached Mumbai on October 17, and a minor boy allegedly collected the bag near their hotel.

After the October 18 firing, Pandit allegedly asked Kunal to help the stranded shooters escape.

Police arrested Radha and Babita in Delhi and detained Kunal and Sumit in Sonipat on October 20.

Investigators are examining the alleged escape route of the shooters, who reportedly travelled to Surat in Gujarat before boarding a Jaipur-bound train. They allegedly planned to reach New Delhi by bus and then flee to Nepal.

Mumbai Police have arrested three accused in Kota, Rajasthan, in connection with the case.

Further investigation is underway to establish the roles of the accused and trace the weapon’s movement.
