A fighter jet of the Indian Air Force, ‘Jaguar’, crashed in the Churu district of Rajasthan on Wednesday.
This IAF Jaguar crashed in the Bhanuda village near Ratangarh town of Churu district. This crash has claimed two lives.
According to sources, SP Churu, Jai Yadav, confirmed the jet crash and stated that he had sent a police team to the incident spot to assess the situation and carry out a search and rescue operation.
SP Jai Yadav said, “Severely mutilated body parts have been recovered near the wreckage.” The crash spread the human remains and the debris of the aircraft around the site.
The IAF posted on the social media platform X,” An IAF Jaguar trainer aircraft met with an accident during a routine training mission and crashed near Churu in Rajasthan today. Both pilots sustained fatal injuries in the accident. No damage to any civil property has been reported.”
The villagers who witnessed the incident said that the aircraft was falling from the sky in a flick of flames.
It crashed like a ball of fire in a field near Charanan Mohalla on Sikrali Road of the village that is roughly 12 kilometres from Jamnagar city.
They found the burning parts and remains of the Jaguar scattered within a radius of 200 feet
When the aircraft crashed, the locals rushed to the site. They suspected that nearly one or two personnel may have been on the jet during the crash.
A local villager said that the natives of the nearby area rushed to the spot when a burning aircraft caught their attention while coming down.
He said, “Villagers from not only Bhanuda but also from nearby villages have reached the spot.”
The crashed aircraft is a twin-engine, ground-attack fighter-bomber, available in single and twin-seat variants.

The second Jaguar crash was followed on April 2 near Jamnagar in Gujarat.
