Telangana MLA Lasya Nandita Died In A Car Accident In Hyderabad

Lasya Nandita, a Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLA, passed away in a traffic accident in Hyderabad today. The 37-year-old, a first time member of the legislative assembly, sustained severe injuries when her car lost control and struck the road divider.

Following the accident, Lasya Nandita was taken to the hospital right away, where she eventually passed away. According to reports, the motorist who was engaged in the collision is gravely hurt and is being treated right now.

Second accident in just 10 days

Ten days prior, Lasya had managed to escape another mishap in Narkatpally, where she had suffered just minor injuries. Her home guard was killed in an accident on February 13, as she was traveling to Nalgonda to attend a rally by the Chief Minister.

Renowned political personality Lasya Nandita had previously worked as a corporator from Kavadiguda since 2016.

Who was Lasya Nandita

Lasya Nandita, who was born in Hyderabad in 1986, entered politics almost ten years ago. Prior to winning an assembly seat from Secunderabad Cantonment in 2023, she worked as a corporator in the Kavadiguda ward.

Leading BRS figure KT Rama Rao used X (formerly Twitter) to offer his condolences on Nandita’s untimely demise. According to reports, the motorist who was engaged in the collision is gravely hurt and is being treated right now.

Following the passing of her father G Sayanna in the previous year, Lasya was given the duty of continuing his legacy. She received a nomination as the party’s candidate and won the election in November 2023.
