Here’s the condition in Ghoshi as INDIA alliance fights in elections

The resignation of Dara Singh Chauhan as a Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA required by-elections in the Ghosi district of Uttar Pradesh. Following his resignation, Chauhan joined the BJP. For the byelections, the BJP is running Chauhan against Sudhakar Singh of the SP. Singh served as a Ghosi MLA from 2012 to 2017, but since then, he has lost in each of the subsequent Assembly elections. Congress is supporting SP, an ally of INDIA. The Ghosi byelection is important for SP and BJP because it is their first contest after the opposition alliance INDIA was formed.

The deal with all other states…

While in Dhanpur, Tripura, Pratima Bhoumik of the BJP resigned in order to save her seat in the Lok Sabha, leaving the assembly vacant. In the by elections for Dhanpur, the BJP is running Bindu Debnath, the brother of Bhoumik, against Kaushik Chanda of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M). After CPI(M) MLA Samsul Haque passed away, the seat in Tripura’s Boxanagar district became up to competition between the two parties. The SP, Congress, and BJP will all run for the Bageshwar seat in Uttarakhand. After BJP MLA Chandan Ram Dass passed away, a by-election was held.

Parwati Dass, a candidate for the BJP, will face Basant Kumar of the Congress and Bhagawati Prasad of the SP. The byelections in Kerala’s Puthuppally seat were necessary due to the passing of Congress stalwart Oommen Chandy. Chandy Oommen, the son of Oommen Chandy, is running for office in the United Democratic Alliance (UDF), which is governed by Congress, while Jaick C. Thomas, a candidate for the ruling CPI(M), is running in this district. After Jharkhand Mukti Morcha MLA Jagarnath Mahto passed away, the seat in Jharkhand Dumri became vacant.

Bebi Devi, the wife of Mahto, will run against Yashoda Devi of the NDA and Abdul Rizvi of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) in the by-elections as the INDIA bloc. The seat was won earlier in the 2019 Assembly elections by the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, which is led by the chief minister Hemant Soren. Following the passing of BJP member Bishnu Pada Ray, the Dhupguri assembly seat in West Bengal became vacant. In opposition to Nirmal Chandra Roy of the Trinamool Congress and Ishwar Chandra Roy of the CPI(M), the BJP is running Tapasi Roy.
