At the Bharat Express 3rd Anniversary Conclave in Delhi, held on 9 March 2026 at Lalit Hotel under the leadership of CMD Upendrra Rai, BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi addressed a gathering of ministers, political leaders, and experts.
Themed ‘Developed India 2047: Talking About New India’, the event drew keen public interest and provided a platform to discuss national development and international affairs.
Trivedi sharply questioned the opposition’s response to the Israel-Iran conflict, saying, “Why are they losing their wits over a foreign war that does not involve India?”
He accused opposition leaders of turning attention away from real issues in India and indulging in political theatrics instead of constructive debate.
His remarks received widespread attention and set the tone for discussions on India’s diplomatic priorities.
Trivedi also praised PM Modi’s diplomacy, noting that the Prime Minister leaves a lasting impression of India wherever he visits. He cited the example of PM Modi presenting the Bhagavad Gita to former US President Obama, highlighting India’s ancient wisdom and reinforcing the nation’s global stature.
On domestic issues, Trivedi said the government addresses every concern responsibly, while the opposition focuses on creating chaos and amplifying negativity rather than constructive debate.
He criticised opposition leaders for overlooking India’s developmental achievements, emphasising that under PM Modi, India now projects a strong and credible voice internationally.
Concluding his address, Trivedi highlighted the contrast between opposition negativity and the government’s proactive approach, stressing the need to focus on development, diplomacy, and good governance to realise the vision of a developed India by 2047.
