DMK politician Udhayanidhi Stalin recently made some contentious remarks about Sanatana Dharma. In his remark, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has stated that Sanatana Dharma is the only religion and that all other forms of devotion are sects.
Speaking at the ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya’ event, Yogi Adityanath said, “Sanatana Dharma is the only religion, the rest are all sects and methods of worship. Sanatan is the religion of humanity and if it is attacked then there will be a crisis for humanity across the globe”.

The seven-day ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya’ hosted at the Gorakhnath Temple concluded with remarks from Chief Minister Yogi at the concluding session. The celebration commemorated Mahant Digvijay Nath’s 54th death anniversary as well as the national saint Mahant Avaidyanath’s 9th death anniversary.

CM Yogi addressed the crowd at Shrimad Bhagwat
Chief Minister Yogi emphasized the significance of keeping an open mindset in order to appreciate the substance of Shrimad Bhagwat’s limited viewpoints and fight to grasp its breadth one more time.
“The story of Bhagwat is boundless and cannot be confined to specific days or hours. It flows endlessly, and devotees continuously absorb its essence into their lives,” he added. Earlier on Monday Yogi Adityanath said “The needs of the country and society are the priority of a saint. Mahant Digvijaynath ji was one such saint. He fought against the challenges of his time.”
