The 11th edition of the Raisina Dialogue will begin in New Delhi on Thursday, bringing together global leaders, policymakers and strategic experts.
Instituted in 2016, the annual conference has emerged as India’s leading platform for discussions on international affairs.
The Observer Research Foundation organises the three-day event in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs.
The forum gathers heads of state, ministers, academics, industry leaders, think tanks and members of the media to deliberate on major global challenges.
Over the years, it has hosted discussions on changing geopolitical dynamics. It has also addressed climate concerns and technological transformation. In addition, the forum has examined economic resilience and the future of global governance.
Theme of Raisina Dialogue 2026
The 2026 edition is centred on the theme ‘Samskara – Assertion, Accommodation, Advancement’, reflecting contemporary global realities.
“Samskara is the inheritance of identity that enables civilisations to assert who they are, accommodate the difference and advance through refinement,” organisers said while outlining the theme’s philosophical foundation.
Several international dignitaries will likely attend the conference. Among them are Barry Faure, Foreign Affairs Minister of Seychelles, and Lyonpo Dina Nath Dhungyel, Bhutan’s Foreign Minister.
Finnish President Alexander Stubb arrived in New Delhi earlier for a state visit. He will attend the Dialogue as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker.
The United States delegation will be led by Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau.
