Shocking Statement Of Ajit Pawar: NCP Leader Criticizes Working Of Party, Draws Comparison With Other Parties   

As per sources, Ajit Pawar might soon take up the position of state president. From more than 5 year, the position is held by Jayant Patil.

Ajit Pawar, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader in a party meeting expressed himself and shocked everybody in the meeting. He stated that no more wants to be the leader of opposition and wish to have organizational role. He basically was aiming at highlighting that the flaws that the party is currently having. This took place at the foundation day function of NCP.

As per sources, Ajit Pawar might soon take up the position of state president. From more than 5 year, the position is held by Jayant Patil. It is to be noted that this statement has come only after Sharad Pawar, the Party President appointed his trusted aide

The party recently caught the new headlines when Sharad Pawar, the party president appointed his trusted aide Praful Patel and daughter Supriya Sule as the party’s working president. Praful Patel and daughter Supriya Sule as the party’s working presidents. Prior to this announcement of party’s working president, Sharad Pawar actually resigned from his position but had to take the decision back because of large opposition from his own party. Also, after this announcement was made, many people questioned Sharad Pawar as to why did he not chose Ajit, who is his own nephew.

“Sharad Pawar must bring about drastic changes in the organization,” says NCP leader

Speaking at the foundation day function of NCP on Wednesday, Ajit Pawar said, “I am not interested in the post of leader of opposition. Since the formation of NCP 25 years ago, a new generation has come forward. “Sharad Pawar must bring about drastic changes in the organisation. We have lost recognition as a national party, and several NCP leaders have served as cabinet members, but they lack the capacity to ensure the victory of NCP leaders in constituencies.”

This statement shocked most of the people in the meeting as he openly criticize the working of the party. He even drew comparison with other parties and party leader in the nation. Ajit Pawar asked why NCP had failed to form a government on its own in Maharashtra if Mamata Banerjee could do so in West Bengal and Arvind Kejriwal in New Delhi.

One of them said he appeared to have spoken “out of frustration” after having been left out of the organisational revamp announcements made recently. This was aiming at the position of party president that did not go to Ajit.

“We have failed to build up the organisation in Vidarbha and Mumbai and have so far not been able to appoint a president for Mumbai. In my opinion, an opportunity should be given to new faces in the ensuing assembly and Lok Sabha elections,” he said.
