India’s Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, met with Bill Gates, CEO of the GES Foundation, at the Krishi Bhavan in New Delhi on March 17, to discuss several important issues related to agriculture, rural development, and women’s empowerment.
This collaboration aims to address critical challenges in global food security, technology innovation, and inclusive growth.
During the meeting, Minister Chouhan highlighted India’s strides in agricultural research and technology.
He expressed gratitude for the support and collaboration with GES Foundation, particularly focusing on digital agriculture, artificial intelligence, and climate-resilient farming.
