With the Delhi Assembly elections approaching on 5 February, the BJP has released a video of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s old residence, dubbing it the ‘Sheesh Mahal.’
The 14-minute-long video, shared on the Delhi BJP’s social media platform X and its YouTube channel, showcases Kejriwal’s house as a lavish property equipped with modern amenities.

The BJP has labeled it ‘Mahathag Arvind Kejriwal’s Ayyashi Ka Sheesh Mahal’.
According to the BJP, the residence resembles a luxury hotel from the inside.
This is the first time a video of Kejriwal’s old residence has been made public, following earlier claims made through a documentary.
The BJP has also disclosed the prices of several high-end items featured in the video.
It claims that the residence includes smart LED turntable lights worth Rs 19.5 lakh, 80 curtains with body sensors and remote controls priced between Rs 4 crore and Rs 5.6 crore, and 16 television sets worth Rs 64 lakh.
Other items include a recliner sofa for Rs 10 lakh, an oven for Rs 9 lakh, and a microwave for Rs 6 lakh.
Additionally, the BJP alleges that decorative poles cost Rs 36 lakh, toilet seats Rs 12 lakh, and automatic doors Rs 70 lakh.
The BJP had earlier accused Kejriwal of spending crores on renovations for the Chief Minister’s residence, claiming the use of marbles worth crores, commodes priced at Rs 4 lakh each, and curtains costing Rs 8 lakh.
The release of the video comes as political tensions rise ahead of the elections, with each party intensifying its efforts to sway voters.
