Refusing to entertain additional plea over NEET-UG row, SC asks petitioner to make point on next hearing of the matter on 8 July. The apex court on Monday refused to entertain a petition seeking probe into NEET-UG row by central investigative agencies.
Petitioner sought an urgent hearing of the matter. However, SC refused to entertain the another plea asking to make point on July 8.
National testing agency had urged the Supreme Court to transfer all NEET related Pleas in seven different High Courts of India to SC. And that to hear them together in SC. The bench of Justice Vikram Nath and Justice SVN Bhatti is to hear the case on 8 July.

In addition, the Supreme Court sent notice to the NTA and the Centre regarding petitions asking for a court-monitored investigation into the purported anomalies in the medical entrance test as well as the cancellation of the NEET-UG 2024.
During the hearing, the Supreme Court considered fourteen petitions in total. The Student Federation of India, a student body made up of 49 students submitted the ten of these pleas. The NTA submitted the final four in the interim.
On May 5, the NEET-UG 2024 was administered in 4,750 locations. About 24 lakh applicants took the medical entrance exam.
