Spiritual leader Satish Acharya highlighted the importance of skill development while addressing the Bharat Express Conclave held in Delhi to celebrate the third anniversary of Bharat Express.
During the session themed Viksit Bharat 2047, Acharya said that academic degrees alone are no longer sufficient for young people entering today’s competitive world. He emphasised that practical abilities must accompany formal education to ensure meaningful employment and career growth.
Acharya stated that modern industries increasingly value specialised capabilities and professional expertise.
According to him, youth who combine knowledge with hands-on competence will gain a clear advantage in the evolving job market. He further explained that skill-based learning strengthens confidence and enhances productivity.
Such training, he noted, allows young individuals to adapt to technological changes and emerging economic sectors.
Acharya encouraged educational institutions to integrate skill-oriented programmes alongside traditional academic courses. He said this balanced approach can prepare students for real-world challenges and professional responsibilities.
Concluding his remarks, Acharya observed that empowering youth with both education and skills will play a vital role in building a progressive and developed India by 2047.
