Committed to the comprehensive development of Sarojninagar and the cultural and religious aspirations of its people, MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh’s social initiative, the ‘Ramrath-Shravan Ayodhya Yatra’, completed its 45th successful journey on Sunday.
Free Journey for Devotees
On this special occasion, 60 devotees from Kudha Intgaon, mostly elderly and women, were blessed with the opportunity to have darshan of Shri Ram Lalla at the sacred Ayodhya Dham.
The MLA’s team provided all necessary arrangements, including meals, refreshments, prasad, and other facilities, completely free of charge.
A Promise Fulfilled
Earlier in August, an elderly woman from Kudha Intgaon requested the MLA to organise a pilgrimage for her village residents.
Dr Rajeshwar Singh promptly approved the proposal and arranged the journey after the Raksha Bandhan festival, winning the villagers’ heartfelt appreciation.
Emotional Pilgrimage Moments
Upon arrival, the devotees experienced the divine darshan of Ram Lalla, moving many to tears. As a token of affection, the MLA gifted saris to all female pilgrims as Raksha Bandhan presents.
Volunteers attentively cared for the elderly and ensured a comfortable journey for all participants.
Dedication to Public Welfare
The ‘Ramrath-Shravan Ayodhya Yatra’ operates free bus services one to two times monthly, fully funded by Dr Rajeshwar Singh.
Its goal is to enable the elderly and women for whom pilgrimage is otherwise a distant dream to visit holy sites.
The MLA said, “Facilitating pilgrimage for elderly people is both a blessing and a privilege. Their happiness after darshan is my greatest reward. This journey’s success owes much to Mata Tara Singh’s inspiration, local blessings, and community support. We will continue this service without interruption.”
