In a fiery speech, Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Singh, launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Central Government regarding the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Singh reiterated AAP’s allegations that Manguta Reddy and Raghav Reddy were coerced by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to testify against Kejriwal, suggesting a conspiracy behind the Chief Minister’s arrest.
Allegations of Coerced Testimonies
Sanjay Singh highlighted the case of Magunta Reddy and his son Raghav Magunta, stating that they had been pressured into changing their statements against Arvind Kejriwal. According to Singh, Magunta Reddy initially confessed to meeting Kejriwal regarding charitable trust land but later altered his statement after his son’s arrest and subsequent imprisonment for five months. Singh emphasized that Raghav Magunta’s testimonies also underwent multiple changes, with the seventh statement on July 16 aligning with the alleged conspiracy against Kejriwal.
