Ahead of Republic Day, the police in Gautam Buddh Nagar have heightened security measures across Delhi and the NCR region to ensure safety and prevent any untoward incidents. Under the guidance of Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh, the district has been conducting ongoing checking campaigns and foot patrolling.
Security Inspections Intensified
In line with the security plan, DCP Ram Badan Singh and ADC P Manish Kumar Mishra supervised a series of checks and foot patrols. ACP Praveen Kumar Singh of Noida, along with his team, carried out extensive inspections across several prominent locations in Sector 39, including Garden Galleria, Sector 37, GIP Mall, bus stands, Botanical Garden, and other high-traffic areas.
Strict Orders for Police Personnel
The operation focused on scrutinizing suspicious vehicles and individuals. Police officers were directed to stop and question individuals where necessary, conducting thorough checks. ACP Singh emphasized the importance of maintaining tight security in light of the upcoming national celebrations. He also instructed the personnel on duty to ensure that Police Response Vehicles (PRVs) remain active and patrol continuously, with regular vehicle checks to ensure public safety.
With the Republic Day celebrations just around the corner, these proactive measures are part of an ongoing effort to safeguard the region and maintain peace and order.
