PM Modi in Lok Sabha
Prime Minister of India – Narendra Modi in Lok Sabha on Thursday evening gave response to the No confidence motion voted by the opposition. The prime motive of the motion was to discuss the issue of Manipur violence. But PM Modi’s speech included a variety of topics other than Manipur as well. His speech was as long as 2 hours and 13 minutes, which broke the record of Lal Bahadur Shastri for longest speech on no-confidence motion by a difference of minute.
PM Modi called the ‘I.N.D.I.A’ alliance arrogant as 26 parties have joined the bloc. He said, “Opposition has to take the support of NDA only. But because of the ego factor, they inserted ‘2 I’s’ in NDA, making it I.N.D.I.A.”
He further exclaimed that the alliance is a symbol of dynastic ruling.
