BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan celebrated his birthday on Friday with religious observances, social outreach and a public gathering in Gorakhpur. He began the day by offering prayers at the Gorakhnath Temple, where he sought blessings for public welfare and the prosperity of Uttar Pradesh and the country. He later performed traditional prayers at his residence.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak were among the leaders who extended birthday greetings to Ravi Kishan, wishing him good health, a long life and continued success in public service.
Ravi Kishan’s birthday also trended throughout the day on social media, with supporters across the country sending their wishes.
As part of the celebrations, Ravi Kishan cut a birthday cake with visually impaired children, spent time interacting with them and promoted the message of social inclusion and service.
A grand birthday feast and public programme was organised in Gorakhpur, drawing thousands of public representatives, party leaders, workers, supporters and residents from Gorakhpur and neighbouring districts, including Mau, Deoria and Azamgarh. MPs, MLAs and social workers also attended the event.
Addressing the gathering, Ravi Kishan thanked the people for their support and said the large turnout reflected the trust, affection and blessings of the public. He described it as the grace of Lord Mahadev and said public love remained his greatest strength.
Ravi Kishan reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people and working for the overall development of Gorakhpur. The event concluded in a peaceful atmosphere, with attendees offering greetings and participating in the community feast.
