Ranga Hari’s Book ‘Prithvi Sookta: An Ode To Mother Earth’ Launched

Addressing the gathering Dr. Mohan Bhagwat added that the founding principle of our motherland is that the world is one big family.

Speaking at the launch event of Shri Ranga Hari’s book ‘Prithvi Sookta: An Ode to Mother Earth’ in New Delhi on Wednesday, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat said that we should have a feeling of devotion, love, dedication and sacrifice towards the motherland.
This book launch event of Shri Ranga Hari’s highly anticipated book was organized by Prajna Pravah, Delhi Prant, and Kitabwale Publishers at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi.

Addressing the gathering Dr. Mohan Bhagwat added that the founding principle of our motherland is that the world is one big family. This is not a theory but a fact with experience. Our forefathers have experienced this.
Ranga Hari ji has always been a diligent and hardworking intellectual. We are always enriched by their company, he added.

On this occasion Arif Mohammad Khan, the Hon’ble Governor of Kerala said that the biggest ideal of India is unity. After the knowledge of Oneness, the difference between God and soul disappears.

Born on May 12, 1930, in Kochi, Shri Ranga Hari is a multifaceted personality who has devoted his life to literature, activism, and leadership. His commitment to various roles within the Sangh, beginning in April 1951, exemplifies his unwavering dedication. Beyond his leadership roles, he is a prolific writer and author, having penned a multitude of books. His journey is a testament to dedication, leadership, and a commitment to the betterment of society.

“Prithvi Sookta: An Ode to Mother Earth” explores the profound wisdom of the Prithvi Sooktam in Atharva Veda. In English verse, it delves into man’s intricate relationship with Earth, offering insights that blend humanism with spirituality. The book strikes a harmonious balance between materialism and spirituality, pulsating with patriotism, nationalism, humanism, and universalism. Shri Ranga Hari’s masterful interpretation is not only timely but also globally appealing.

The book launch event was a grand celebration of literature and intellectual discourse, drawing literature enthusiasts, authors, and dignitaries into an engaging conversation about the timeless wisdom encapsulated within the pages of our Vedas asserting the importance of reviving Indian Knowledge Systems.
