Aam Aadmi Party convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reached Ranchi with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday. Soon after reaching Ranchi, both the chief ministers left for Radiance Blue. Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are set to hold a joint press conference today i.e. on Friday (June 2).
The meeting between the leaders can play an important role in this political scenario. It is interesting to see the way the central government has brought an ordinance after the order of the Supreme Court regarding the transfer-posting of officers. After that Kejriwal is engaged in garnering support from all the parties of the country. It is also important to see that after all which party stands with Kejriwal and who remains neutral? From this point of view, this meeting can be considered important.
The ordinance will be discussed
It is being told that there will be a discussion between Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and CM Hemant Soren on the ordinance brought by the central government regarding the transfer-posting of officers in Delhi. Apart from this, the recent actions of ED and IT in Delhi-Jharkhand and the 2024 elections can be discussed. Both Kejriwal and Hemant Soren have been attacking the BJP government at the Center on different issues.
CM Kejriwal, CM Soren meeting
On February 7, there was a meeting between Kejriwal and Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Delhi. CM Soren had said that during the meeting various issues of development related to Jharkhand and Delhi were discussed. After February, many new pages have been added to the action of ED and IT in both states. Both Kejriwal and Hemant have been vocal against the central government regarding this. On the other hand, regarding the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, efforts are being made at different levels for opposition unity. On the lines of the Kejriwal government, Soren has taken the initiative to establish a school of excellence in Jharkhand. Work has started on the plan to develop the selected schools in the state on the lines of Delhi. In this meeting, there is also talk about the meeting of opposition parties to be held in Patna on June 12.
