Ram Navami: Devotees Offer Prayers To Lord Ram

On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, devotees on Wednesday thronged temples nationwide to offer prayers.

Devotees are gathering at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple as Ram Navami is being celebrated for the first time in Ayodhya.

Devotees stood in long queues waiting to offer Prasad to Lord Ram.

Meanwhile, Pooja was performed at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on the occasion of Ram Navami.

On the occasion of Ram Navami, devotees also flocked to the Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya to offer prayers.

A huge crowd of devotees gathered at Maa Vaishno Devi Temple in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir.

In the national capital, morning Aarti was performed at the Chhatarpur Temple.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. He stated that after a five-century wait, people now have the privilege to celebrate the festival in this manner.

 

Ram Navmi is celebrated all over India every year on the last day of Chaitra Navaratri. On this auspicious day, young girls, representing the nine forms of the goddess Durga, are offered gifts and prasad.
