On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh conducted a Kanya Puja at the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, showcasing his devout observance of the revered festival.
The Gorakhnath Mandir shared a tweet on its official handle, expressing the significance of the day: “Today is a beautiful day, a beautiful home. The beautiful virtue and abode of Ram’s king’s palace have appeared.” Accompanying this message was a video capturing CM Yogi Adityanath’s participation in the sacred rituals.
During the Kanya Puja, CM Yogi Adityanath performed the traditional ritual of washing the feet of young girls and worshipping them, symbolizing reverence towards the divine feminine energy. The ceremony took place within the premises of the Shri Gorakhnath Temple, marking the auspicious occasion of Shri Ram Janmotsav.
