Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. He stated that after a five-century wait, people now have the privilege to celebrate the festival in this manner.
The first Ram Navami after the Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya is a generational milestone, weaving together centuries of devotion with a new era of hope and progress. This is a day crores of Indians waited for. Innumerable people devoted their lives to this sacred cause.

Ram Navmi is celebrated all over India every year on the last day of Chaitra Navaratri. On this auspicious day, young girls, representing the nine forms of the goddess Durga, are offered gifts and prasad.
