Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Bhuj on Friday, where he began his visit by engaging with Air Warriors at the Bhuj Air Force Station.
He was accompanied by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, underscoring the strategic importance of the visit.
This visit follows Singh’s recent stop at the Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, where he interacted with Indian Army personnel and lauded their role in the recently concluded Operation Sindoor.
He further praised the forces for demonstrating precision and impact, stating, “Our troops have shown the world that they aim sharply and act decisively—leaving the enemies to count the cost.”
Message To Pakistan And The Global Community
Referring to the ongoing threat posed by Pakistan-backed terrorism, Singh reiterated India’s unwavering stance against cross-border aggression.
He said, “Operation Sindoor has sent a powerful message to the terrorists and their handlers in Pakistan: our forces will find them, and they are not safe anywhere.”
He further criticised Pakistan’s irresponsible nuclear rhetoric and raised concerns before the international community.
“Are nuclear weapons safe in the hands of such a rogue nation? Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal must be brought under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA),” Singh stated firmly.
Tribute At Smritivan Memorial
During his time in Bhuj, Singh also visited the Smritivan Earthquake Memorial and Museum, which commemorates the victims of the devastating 2001 Gujarat earthquake.

The visit served as a solemn tribute to the resilience of the people and the nation’s commitment to remembering its past.
Reaffirming National Security Doctrine
Rajnath Singh also echoed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stance, asserting that “terrorism and dialogue cannot go hand-in-hand.”
He declared that any future discussions with Pakistan would only focus on terrorism and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), rejecting any attempt to normalise ties while violence persists.
Salute To The Brave
In his address, Singh further expressed deep gratitude to the soldiers who carried out cross-border operations. He honoured the sacrifices of those who died in service and acknowledged the bravery of those injured.
“I carry with me a message from every Indian citizen: ‘We are proud of our forces’,” he declared.
