The Central Water Commission further issued a flood warning for three rivers in the district of Thiruvananthapuram. It is valid for the district’s Karamana, Neyyar, and Vamanapuram rivers.
The state’s general education minister, V Sivankutty, toured the flooded districts and wrote on Facebook that the unique scenario in Thiruvananthapuram city was caused by the rain that started the previous night.
