Railway Minister Unveils Video of India’s 1st Bullet Train Station in Ahmedabad

A breathtaking video of India’s first bullet train terminal, which is located at the Sabarmati Multimodal Transport Hub in Ahmedabad, was tweeted by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Thursday. August 2026 is when Mr. Vaisnaw had previously declared that the 50km bullet train segment between Bilimora and Surat in Gujarat, India, will be finished. Additionally, he had stated that a major step had been done for the bigger Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor, of which the Bilimora-Surat segment is a part, namely the completion of 100 km of viaducts and 230 km of pier work.

The estimated cost of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor is ₹ 1.08 lakh crore, of which ₹ 10,000 crore is committed by the center and ₹ 5,000 crore by each state Gujarat and Maharashtra. The remaining funds will be obtained at a minimum interest rate of 0.1% through a loan from Japan.
