Congressman Rahul Gandhi, aiming the BJP MPs over the security lapse in Parliament, claimed that people who identify as patriotic left the Lok Sabha as soon as the trespassers entered. During a demonstration against the expulsion of fellow opposition MPs from the Parliament, Rahul Gandhi addressed a crowd at Jantar Mantar and said, “Those who call themselves patriotic, hawa nikal gayi unki.”
A few days ago, two or three people leaped from the Lok Sabha’s visitors’ gallery. As soon as they let off some smoke from the canisters after entering the Parliament building, all of the BJP MPs fled. Rahul Gandhi stated on Friday, “They call themselves patriots, but we saw how afraid they were.”
“I want to know how these people entered the building first. Inside the Parliament, they were carrying gas cylinders. The Congress leader remarked, “If they could have brought that, then they could have brought something else too.”
Rahul Gandhi continued to poke fun at the Centre, pointing out that “why did they (accused) stage a protest” is the second most crucial question.
He claimed that the demonstrators intended to bring up the security lapse and unemployment.
