Taking the sensational revelation of the blood sample change of the prime accused in the Pune Porsche crash in a government hospital. a three-member special panel has been appointed by the state administration.

As per the official, this panel will probe the matter and submit the report.

Dr Pallavi Saple, Head of Sir J. J. Hospital in Mumbai; Dr Gajanan Chauhan of Grant Medical College in Mumbai; and Dr Sudhir Choudhary of Government Medical College & Hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar are heading the probe.

The special panel members have arrived at Sassoon Hospital to question the Dean and other officials, following the alarming development of blood sample change.

As per the IANS, some medicos and staffers had tampered with the blood samples of the minor accused in the Porsche crash that killed two techies.

Without revealing the deadline, Dr Saple told the media that the Panel would inquire into all aspects of the matter and submit the report to the government.

The Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar told media persons that someone threw the blood sample of the accused minor in a dustbin and replaced it with another blood sample to save the 17-year-old accused.

Along with a peon named Atul Ghatkamble, the two doctors from Sassoon Hospital, Dr. Ajay Taware, Head of Forensics, and Shrihari Halnor, Blood Bank, have been detained and placed in police detention till 30 May.
