Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, contesting her first election, disclosed extensive investments in mutual funds and stocks in her affidavit for the Lok Sabha by-election in Wayanad, Kerala. Her portfolio includes major investments in Franklin India Flexi Cap Fund, totaling 13,200 units valued at approximately Rs 2.24 crore.

Diverse Mutual Fund Portfolio

The Franklin India Flexi Cap Fund, one of her primary holdings, features prominent stocks such as ACC Ltd, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bharat Electronics, Hindustan Aeronautics, Tata Motors, and Tech Mahindra. According to fund details, Franklin India Flexi Cap Fund invests across sectors, with banking, IT, telecom, cement, and automobile among its top allocations. Priyanka Gandhi also holds smaller investments in other funds, such as Axis Growth Opportunities Fund, Axis Bluechip Fund, HDFC Small Cap Fund, and ICICI Prudential India Opportunities Fund, valued between Rs 7.71 lakh and Rs 8.84 lakh each.

Stock Market Holdings in PSUs and Private Firms

In addition to mutual funds, Priyanka Gandhi’s affidavit lists direct stock investments totaling Rs 65.72 lakh. She holds shares in 18 companies, including six public sector units (PSUs) with a combined value of Rs 19.08 lakh. Notable PSU investments include IRCON International, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, and National Aluminum. Her stock holdings in PSUs like Railtel Corporation and NMDC are also significant, valued at Rs 2.11 lakh and Rs 2.31 lakh, respectively.
