Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new office of the Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg in New Delhi on Monday.
The ceremony coincides with the auspicious occasion of Navratri Saptami, symbolising a new chapter of growth and dedication for the Delhi BJP.
Top party leaders, including BJP National President JP Nadda, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, senior Union Ministers, Members of Parliament, MLAs, councillors, and thousands of grassroots workers, will attend the event.
Party members are hailing the inauguration as a landmark moment in the BJP’s journey, showcasing decades of commitment and organisational growth in the national capital.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva confirmed that Prime Minister Modi will formally inaugurate the new building.
He described the occasion as a “historic moment” and extended congratulations to all Delhi BJP workers, acknowledging their hard work in bringing the project to completion.
A Journey of Growth and Resilience
Sachdeva recalled the BJP’s long organisational journey in Delhi. After the party’s formation, its first office was located at Ajmeri Gate, later moving to Rakabganj Road, and then to 14 Pandit Pant Marg, where it remained for nearly 35 years.
The move to a purpose-built headquarters on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg signifies the culmination of a long-standing aspiration.
Moreover, the foundation stone for the new office was laid by BJP National President JP Nadda on 9 June 2023.
The project, completed under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and JP Nadda, is part of the BJP’s nationwide mission to strengthen its organisational presence.
Sachdeva expressed gratitude to the party’s central leadership, crediting their vision for resolving long-pending land disputes and ensuring the timely completion of the building.
He highlighted that the initiative aligns with the BJP’s goal to establish offices in every state capital and district, strengthening the party’s grassroots presence and accessibility.
He also noted that all 14 organisational districts of Delhi now have their own offices, demonstrating the party’s focus on strengthening its foundation and ensuring close coordination with local workers.
The new Delhi BJP office stands as a testament to the party’s commitment to discipline, service, and organisational excellence.
As Prime Minister Modi inaugurates the building, the occasion reflects not only a structural milestone but also a reaffirmation of the BJP’s dedication to its workers and vision for future growth.
