Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlights youth role in Nation-Building

Ahead of the event, Prime Minister Modi shared a post on the social media platform. In the post, he highlighted the government’s resolve to enhance youth participation in building a ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’.

Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “We are determined to enhance the participation of young friends in building a developed and self-reliant India. In this series, tomorrow, 12 July, at 11 AM, I will participate in another employment fair through video conferencing, where thousands of youths will be handed appointment letters.”

In the previous edition held in April, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) distributed 6,677 appointment letters during the 15th Rozgar Mela. This underlined the government’s ongoing efforts to reinforce public service capacity.

Out of the total distributed letters, 1,805 were given in person at specific venues, while 4,872 were issued through virtual means.

Like earlier editions, the current Rozgar Mela is being conducted simultaneously at 47 locations across the country. All venues are virtually connected for the Prime Minister’s live address.
