On the night of August 14, the eve of the 77th Independence Day, President Droupadi Murmu addressed the country. According to the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the speech was broadcasted starting at 7 p.m. on the full national network of Akashvani and simulcast on all Doordarshan channels in Hindi, followed by the English translation.
The nationalist poet Kuvempu was cited by President Murmu in her inaugural address on the eve of Independence Day last year. “This is the nationalist poet’s clarion call to complete sacrifice for the motherland and the betterment of fellow people. I specifically appeal to the youth of the nation who will be constructing the India of 2047 to uphold these ideas, she had stated.

President Murmu’s Independence Day serves as a reminder that we live in a wonderful community. In her address to the nation, President Murmu declared, “It is a community of citizens of the largest democracy in the world. We have an identity tied to our family and place of employment in addition to caste, creed, language, and geography. However, we all have one identity that comes before all others that of being Indian citizens, according to President Murmu. Let’s all promise to carry out our essential constitutional obligations and work tirelessly to strive for excellence in all of our individual and group endeavors in order for our nation to reach new heights of assiduity and accomplishment while moving forward. Our governing document is our constitution. The values of our independence struggle are contained in the preamble of the Constitution.

One term sums up the key to tribal communities’ continued existence throughout the years. It’s called pity. The tribal community’s residents view nature as their mother and feel compassion for all of her offspring, including flora and fauna.

President Murmu applauds ISRO’s successful Chandrayaan-3 launch
According to the President, Indian Space Research Organisation is reaching new heights and establishing new standards of excellence. Chandrayaan-3, which ISRO launched, has orbited the moon. The Moon mission is merely a first step for our future space programs. We still have a ways to go.
Anusandhaan National Research Foundation will be established by the government with a sum of Rs. 50,000 crores over the following five years to encourage research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. This Foundation will aid in the growth and advancement of research and development at our research centers, universities, and institutions.

We also have an identity tied to our family and place of employment in addition to caste, creed, language, and geography. President Murmu claims that despite all of this, we have one identity that stands above all others: Indian citizenship.
