The new book, “Pranab My Father,” penned by Congress veteran Pranab Mukherjee’s daughter, Sharmishtha Mukherjee, sheds light on Pranab’s reservations about Rahul Gandhi’s leadership abilities. Revealing an incident during a morning walk, Pranab expressed displeasure at Rahul’s office mistakenly scheduling a meeting, quipping about their competence in running the PMO.

As a key figure in the Congress and a former President, Pranab Mukherjee worked with three generations of the Gandhis, holding prominent ministries during Rahul Gandhi’s early political career.
