PM Minister Narendra Modi departed for three day visit to Brunei and Singapore on Tuesday morning. Although Brunei and India shares a longstanding bond of 40 years, Modi’s Visit to Brunei marks history as this is the first visit of a state head of India.
During the visit of two Countries, Prime Minister will first visit to Brunei where he is anticipated to meet His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. In a Social media platform X post in early hours of Tuesday, PM wrote the focus will be on deepening the India’s ties with the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Brunei for a historic visit. The visit, which coincides with the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Brunei, was warmly welcomed by Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah.
In Singapore, PM will hold talks with President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. In an ‘X’ Prime Minister said that India is eager to further cement ties in key sectors.
