PM Minister Narendra Modi departed for three day visit to Brunei and Singapore on Tuesday morning. Although Brunei and India shares a longstanding bond of 40 years, Modi’s Visit to Brunei marks history as this is the first visit of a state head of India.
During the visit of two Countries, Prime Minister will first visit to Brunei where he is anticipated to meet His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. In a Social media platform X post in early hours of Tuesday, PM wrote the focus will be on deepening the India’s ties with the country.

In Singapore, PM will hold talks with President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. In an ‘X’ Prime Minister said that India is eager to further cement ties in key sectors.
Before leaving for the historic state visit, PM took to the platform ‘X’ and wrote about his planned visits.
