Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to attend the Christmas celebrations at CBCI Centre in Delhi. Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI) organizes the celebrations in New Delhi at 6 pm on Monday. This will be a historic marking as PM Modi will be visiting the headquarters of the Catholic Church for the first time.

On this occasion, the PM will be interacting with key leaders from the Christian community, including Cardinals, Bishops, and prominent lay leaders of the Church. The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI) established in 1944, is the body that closely works with all the Catholics across India.

Meanwhile, on December 19, PM Modi attended another Christmas celebration at the residence of Union Minister George Kurian. At the celebration, PM interacted with eminent members of the Christian community, emphasising the spirit of thoroughness and celebration.

Sharing the pictures from his visit to the residence of George Kurian on his X handle, PM wrote, “Attended the Christmas celebrations at the residence of Union Minister Shri George Kurian Ji. Also interacted with eminent members of the Christian community.”

Recently, PM Modi visited Kuwait where he was wonderfully welcomed. His historic two-day visit began on Saturday. This marks the first visit by the Indian Prime Minister in 43 years, focussing on deepening the ties between the two nations.

Prime Minister also expressed his gratitude while thanking Kuwait for welcoming him. He also reflected on the warmth of the reception and the significance of this historic visit through his social media post.
