PM Narendra Modi has appreciated the efforts of all Members of Parliament (MPs) who briefed him about their achievements during India’s global diplomatic outreach after Operation Sindoor.
BJP MP Gulam Ali Khatana confirmed this on Wednesday, following the meeting at the PM’s official residence on Tuesday.
Khatana told IANS that the all-party delegation effectively presented India’s position to the world.
“The global community now understands that India seeks good ties with neighbours but has zero tolerance on terrorism,” he said.
Khatana further added, “PM Modi was very pleased with our meeting and appreciated the efforts of all MPs.”
The BJP MP criticised the Opposition’s reaction to the government’s diplomatic campaign post-Operation Sindoor.
He asserted, “The Opposition is facing two frustrations. First, the people have rejected them. Second, they achieved nothing during their rule. In contrast, PM Modi has taken the country to new heights in the last 11 years.”
On the question of holding a special parliamentary session on Operation Sindoor, Khatana responded, “That’s for the government to decide. But the Opposition is only venting. Their leaders have contributed nothing constructive abroad.”
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi lauded the MPs who represented India with purpose and dignity. “We are all proud of the manner in which they put forward India’s voice,” the PM said in an official statement.
India won’t tolerate terrorism from Pakistan
Khatana also slammed Pakistan’s behaviour, stating, “They talk about water-sharing under the Indus Waters Treaty, yet continue to spread terrorism. They must understand the power dynamics have changed. India will no longer tolerate such actions.”
