In a significant move to mark PM Narendra Modi’s 11 years in office, the NaMo app launched the Jan Man Survey, an interactive platform inviting citizens to directly share their views on national policies and development.
Within just 26 hours of its launch, the survey received over five lakh responses from across India, highlighting the strong public interest in participatory governance.

Prime Minister Modi personally announced the launch of the Jan Man Survey on X (formerly Twitter), calling on citizens to take part.
Following his announcement, the survey rapidly gained traction, becoming a popular tool for collecting public feedback on issues such as national security, governance, youth empowerment, and cultural pride.

The Jan Man Survey is hosted on the NaMo app, which features a prominent banner on its homepage guiding users to the survey.
Citizens can also access it through a direct link (http://nm-4.com/janmansurvey2025) or via the ’11 Years of Seva’ module on the app, where the survey is highlighted as a key engagement feature.
The user-friendly interface allows respondents to complete the survey with ease, contributing meaningfully to national dialogue.
Nationwide participation, UP leads in numbers
Participation has poured in from every corner of the country. Uttar Pradesh leads in terms of response numbers, followed by Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Haryana.
Remarkably, 77% of respondents completed the entire survey, indicating a high level of engagement.
Top 5 participating states:
- Uttar Pradesh – 1,41,150 responses
- Maharashtra – 65,775 responses
- Tamil Nadu – 62,580 responses
- Gujarat – 43,590 responses
- Haryana – 29,985 responses
Fifteen insightful questions for national feedback
The survey features 15 questions covering a wide spectrum of governance and developmental topics.
Respondents share opinions on India’s global standing, digital initiatives, women’s empowerment, youth opportunities, cultural pride, infrastructure, and public representation.
Key questions include:
- How secure do you feel as a citizen in today’s India?
- What is your view on India’s international stature in the last decade?
- Which Digital India services have benefited you most?
- How have youth-centric policies like Skill India impacted your life?
- What progress do you see towards building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India)?
