PM Modi’s Clear Message On Terrorism & PoK Garners Political Support

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent national address following ‘Operation Sindoor’ has drawn widespread acclaim from political leaders, particularly those from the BJP and NDA.

The speech, which asserted India’s firm stance on terrorism and its approach to Pakistan, described a bold and necessary affirmation of the country’s security doctrine.

In his address, PM Modi declared that India would limit any engagement with Pakistan to discussions solely on terrorism and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK).

The Prime Minister warned that nuclear threats would not deter India from taking decisive action and stressed that India would meet terrorism, whether directly perpetrated or state-sponsored, with equal retribution.

PM Modi outlined a three-point doctrine focused on tracking, targeting, and neutralising global terror threats, saying, “This is a new normal.”

The Prime Minister reiterated that India retains full autonomy to respond to provocations in a manner and time of its choosing.

BJP Leaders Back PM Modi’s Stance

Speaking to IANS, BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal lauded the Prime Minister’s clarity.

“PM Modi has outlined India’s red lines unambiguously. ‘Operation Sindoor’ is not concluded, only suspended. Any provocation will be met with a firm response,” he said.

He also praised the accuracy of India’s indigenous missiles, saying it reflects the strength of the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh told IANS that the speech was the ‘united voice of 140 crore Indians’.

He noted that India seeks peace but will not hesitate to eliminate threats at their root. “There will be no talks with terrorists. Talks, if any, will only address PoK and terrorism,” Chugh asserted.

Allies Express Unity On National Security

Speaking to IANS, Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Minister Uday Samant applauded PM Modi’s address and appealed for bipartisan unity on issues of national security.

“It’s unfortunate that the opposition tries to politicise national defence. In such times, we must stand together,” he said.

Speaking to IANS, BJP leader Dilip Ghosh underscored the importance of the speech in clarifying India’s position following speculation around the ceasefire.

“There is no ambiguity now. India remains alert and prepared,” he said.

Shiv Sena’s Raju Waghmare told IANS, “The Prime Minister has reaffirmed that no talks will take place unless they concern PoK or terrorism. Military response remains an option if provoked.”

He also emphasised that PoK remains an internal matter, and India will not tolerate foreign interference.

Prime Minister Modi’s speech, backed by ‘Operation Sindoor’, marks a defining moment in India’s fight against terrorism.

With unified support from allies and party members, the message is clear: India will prioritise security and sovereignty above all else.
